Happy First Day of Spring!

Hello, fabulous friends!
It feels so good to post on my blog today! I just could not let the day go by without a hallelujah shout out for the first day of spring!! Even though the weather is rainy today in Los Angeles, now that spring is here, I know there are brighter days ahead! So what have I been up to, you ask?

I have been up to my ears in flowers! Yep, I can officially say my side hustle floral business is blooming…get it? Yes, I am still corny! The last few months have been all about planting the seeds to grow my floral workshop business! It has been a lot of hard work balancing family, career, and following my passions but, I am starting to see the fruits of my labor!

I have met so many wonderful people and I am starting to build a network of like-minded entrepreneurs that have been so helpful in building my brand. Things really do take time but, if you stick to it things will start to happen.

So what is this business all about, you ask?

My elevator pitch in three words: FLOWERS, FREEDOM, and FUN!

FLOWERS: The first one is easy! If you love flowers…then this is right up your alley! I work with some of the best growers in the business to select amazing flowers to share in my workshops. I have the advantage of living in Los Angeles where there is one of the best flower markets in the country! I love strolling the isles and finding the perfect blooms!

FREEDOM: This word has so much significance for me and my “Why” for my business! Freedom to create! Freedom to explore something new, and giving myself the freedom to focus on the things that bring me joy.
How many times have we said, “One day I am going to start doing more of the things I love to do!” ?
As women, we are often so focused on everyone else’s needs that we forget to take care of ourselves!
One of the most common things I hear from clients after my floral workshop is “It was so relaxing!”

Arranging flowers literally makes you stop and smell the roses! It gives your mind and spirit the freedom to relax and enjoy the moment!

FUN: My favorite “F” word, lol!
Who doesn’t like having a little fun! The great thing about flowers is you really can’t go wrong! If you put them in water, they will look beautiful! My workshops are beginner-friendly, educational, and a really fun way to spend the afternoon! Add a little bubbly, some jazz music, and a whole lot of laughs with girlfriends and you have a perfect afternoon!

So that is what I have been totally focused on these days! My next workshop is April 14, 2019!  Tickets are available here.

I am also planning a fabulous Mother’s Day Blooms & Bubbly for Saturday, May 11, 2019! Tickets will be on sale soon so save the date and bring your mother, aunt, granny, or favorite gal to this special event! Stay tuned for more information!

Thank you for coming along with me on this journey! Remember, “You are a seed that will grow even when life throws dirt in your face!”  Hey! I just thought of that quote! I may put that on a t-shirt! #nextsidehustle LOL!

Stay busy being fabulous,
Kery B.
