It’s that wonderful time of the year when I get to feature beautiful holiday home decorations from my family and friends! I love traditions and sharing holiday decorating ideas on my blog has definitely become a Kery B. tradition! This year I am featuring a few decorations from Lisa, Rochelle, and Debbie! These ladies enjoy decorating for the holidays as much as I do, so I thought I would share a few highlights from their homes! Before we get started, let’s take a moment to admire Lisa’s gorgeous silver reindeer candle holder! This beautiful piece is quite a showstopper! It is the perfect way to brighten up a space for the holidays. Now, sit back and relax, take a little break from the holiday hustle, and enjoy The Holidays with Kery B. and Friends!
If you have a staircase in your home, here is a simple and elegant way to add a holiday touch. The sparkly red bulbs make a big impact so you don’t need a lot to create a nice garland.
You don’t have to go all out with holiday decorations! You can keep it simple by adding a few bulbs in a vase or bowl to add a little holiday cheer to a shelf or table.
You can also add a little whimsical touch to your decor by using traditional items like candlesticks in a non-traditional way! By adding cute little figurines and coordinating ribbon, you can create a cozy festive look in your home.
I just love all of the beautiful black and white plaid accents this year! It is such a classic look that works well with farmhouse to traditional styles! Below are highlights from Debbie’s house where she also used a black and white motif as an accent to her neutral color palette.
This year both Debbie and I used buffalo check reindeers in our holiday decor! It worked so well with her neutral decor and added just the right pop of color!
Sometimes all you need are a few pillows to add that holiday touch! It is the perfect way to cozy things up and send a wonderful message to remember the reason for the season!
Last year I did a lot of entertaining! I hosted a holiday open house and we had a blast! However, this year I decided to just slow down and enjoy visiting family and friends! One of my favorite things was attending a family tree trimming and birthday party! Rochelle and Sharod did an amazing job and I just loved the decorations and seeing the kids have so much fun!
Rochelle has a beautiful collection of Black Santas but, my favorite piece is her collection of Black Christmas Carolers! I just love all the details and the way they are all bundled up! Black Christmas Caroler figurines are so hard to find so it is nice to have such a unique treasure in the family.
I hope you have enjoyed this little peek into The Holidays with Kery B. and Friends! I always feel inspired by my fabulous friend and family! I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I will be back in January with great content and big announcements for 2019 so stay tuned!! Thank you Lisa! You did a wonderful job with your decorations! Merry Christmas 🎄😘
Awesome inspiration Kery. I haven’t put up a tree in a few years, but continue to decorate with some of the same kinds of warm accessories seen here. I even make a holiday card “clothesline” from the various cards I receive. I add this touch to one of my living room doors. Who knows, maybe it’s the teacher in me (needing to see a print-rich room).
