Work It Wednesday-I am back and still busy being fabulous!

Wow!! I didn’t think I would make it back to my blog! For a minute there, it was touch and go people!  Everything has been super cool with me but, I just did not feel motivated to blog! It you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you know that I have been busy with travel, work, and a lot of fun! I have just been enjoying life and taking things one day at a time. I think I have been very reflective in these last few months and just needed to do me!

Anyway, I am back and ready to hit the ground running with a good old fashion Work It Wednesday! This Work It Wednesday post is pretty special because it features my birthday outfit!! Yep, your girl turned 51 years old this month and I feel great! My whole attitude is like, I am over 50 so I do what I want! I feel like Sheree from the Real Housewives of Atlanta who says, “Who gon’ check me Boo?” LOL!

Yep, I feel very grown and comfortable in my own skin! I figure you just have to own it, flaws and all! I am still a work in progress but, I feel like I am on the right track to being the best me! On my birthday I had to work all day with back to back meetings but, I decided that I was going to dress like I was ready to celebrate!

My floral flirty blouse is from Charming Charlie and so are the earrings! The blouse was so inexpensive and easy to wear! Charming Charlie is such a cute store with so many coordinated pieces and accessories! It is worth the drive to check them out every once in a while to pick up a few cute items! The whole store is color coordinated so it makes it super easy to shop! You can checkout their website, here.

My jeans are my old faithful Banana Republic Capri-style jeans paired with my very old snakeskin slingback pumps from Nordstrom. After all of my meetings, I ended my birthday with a great dinner at Pump Restaurant in West Hollywood!  It is super cute, the food and drinks were delicious, and the best part was the fun sparkler with my cake to celebrate! I hope you have enjoyed this “comeback” Work It Wednesday! It feels good to blog again! I will work on keeping the posts coming at least a few times a month!
