Hello Yellow- Work It Wednesday!

Hello Yellow! Hello Sunshine! I get excited about every season and even though we really don’t get much change in the weather here in Southern California, I enjoy all of the little signs that happen as a new season arrives. I love bright colors especially yellow and when the lemons on my backyard tree are plump and bright yellow, I know that summer is in full swing!

When I saw this shirt at Charming Charlie, it reminded me of my lemon tree and I thought it would be perfect to wear at my Blooms & Bubbly floral arrangement workshop this month! I plan to use the lemons on my tree to teach my guests how to make a beautiful floral arrangement that will brighten up any room for the summer!  If you are interested in attending this event you can get your tickets here.

I am back to my natural hair twist out for a minute! My hair is growing and I can’t believe it has been almost three years since my big chop! Learn more about my natural hair journey in my previous post here.

My super bright yellow heels by Steve Madden were the perfect pair for my lemony top! I love these shoes but my problem is I can only wear them for a minute…they are a little too high for extended comfort! I plan to take them to my favorite shoe repair and get the heels cut down a bit. I did this with another pair of heels that I have and it really made a difference!
