My trip to Boston, Home Sense, and Duck Tour Adventures!
This was my third trip to Boston for a work retreat but, it was the first time we had a little time to see the city.
Boston is such a historic city and I discovered the best way to see it is on a Boston Duck Tour!
What is that you ask? It is a “land to sea” guided tour of the city on a vehicle that goes through the city then the wheels go up and you are on the water cruising the Charles River in the heart of Boston!
The views you get of the Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge are amazing! The tour takes about an hour and a half and it is really a fun experience! So if you want to tour Boston, this is the way to go! See link here.
After the tour, my colleagues and I walked around the city and enjoyed a delicious meal. You definitely have to try the “Chowda” and a lobster roll when you are in Boston! We also went to a restaurant called Legal Sea Foods and it was great! The Seafood in Boston is amazing! Shrimps the size of golf balls!
One evening I decided to hop into an Uber and take the 30 minute trip (when there is no traffic, lol) to Framingham, Massachusetts to visit an amazing store called Home Sense!
Home Sense is the mega sister store to Home Goods that just opened in Massachusetts! It’s like Home Goods on steroids!Instead of one small area of accent furniture, they have a ton! Everything has a whole section instead of just an aisle like in Home Goods!
Just racks and racks of Home Goods treasures!
Too bad they are not on the west coast yet! It was definitely fun to browse there! The link to their stores and locals, here.
Well, that was my Boston adventure by land and by sea! I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks colleagues for a fun and memorable trip!
Stay busy being fabulous,
Kery B.
