Stripes and Brights-Work It Wednesday!

This week I pulled out my super bright Kate Spade handbag and my orange and white stripe top for a casual spring look! I think stripes and brights work well together when you are ready for some fun in the sun!  The weather is so nice that it makes me want to head outdoors and just enjoy the cool breeze.

I like to make a simple t-shirt and jeans look chic by selecting fun colors and patterns. Stripes are a great way to add style to a casual outfit. They are classic and definitely on trend for spring and summer!

From classic navy and white to beach umbrella brights, you can find stripes to fit your style. Here are a few cute stripe tops I found at Ann Taylor and J Crew.  

 

I use to shy away from stripes because I read somewhere that stripes can make you look larger. However, I think stripes in the right proportion can work well with most body types. So good ahead and give stripes a try!   Don’t forget to add a bright handbag to add a burst of fun to your spring/summer wardrobe!
