Cocktail Time With My Favorite Copper Mugs!

Cocktail Time

One of my favorite cocktails is a Pineapple Moscow Mule. It is slightly sweet, very refreshing, and the best part is it’s usually served in a beautiful copper mug! I love the look of copper and these copper mugs are perfect for hot or cold beverages.

I found these at Nordstom Rack but I have seen them at TJ Maxx, Bev Mo, and even a few grocery stores. They keep your beverages really cold or hot. You can usually buy them as a box set which makes them a nice little gift for the holidays. Once I found the mugs, I decided to make my favorite drink at home! Here is my recipe for a great Pineapple Moscow Mule:

Cocktail time
Ingredients:
2.5 oz Pineapple Vodka
4 oz Fresh pineapple chunks
4 oz Ginger beer
One lime
Fresh mint for garnish
Ice cubes
Directions:
Muddle fresh pineapple chunks in a shaker to release the pineapple juice.
Add the vodka and the juice of one lime. Shake well.
Pour through strainer over ice into your mug
Add the ginger beer
Garnish with mint and a chuck of pineapple. Enjoy!

When the weather gets a little cooler, I can’t wait to use these mugs to serve old fashion hot chocolate!  My mother use to make it on the stove whenever it got cold or rainy. These copper mugs will be a nice new touch to an old tradition. I will be sure to share that stove top hot chocolate recipe on the blog!

Stay busy being fabulous,

I cannot wait to try this recipe. I plan to follow it to the letter. All ginger beers are not equal. Thanks for sharing.
