This post is called “a pop of lemon drop” because these strappy yellow heels and statement necklace remind me of good old Lemonheads-lemon drop candies, one of my favorite candies as a kid, LOL!
Yellow is one of my favorite accent colors. I love to step up my style with a pop of color! You can take an ordinary jean outfit to the next level by adding a little color.

If you read my last post you know that I was in Scottsdale, Arizona and went shopping at a place called Last Chance. It is the bargain basement for Nordstrom and Nordstrom’s Rack. These Steve Madden heels cost $16.97! Now, all of the shoes and items at Last Chance are sold “as is” and are mostly returns and overstock items. Therefore, you have to look carefully and try things on before you buy them. Luckily, these shoes were in great shape and the price was a steal!
I love accessories and I follow a wonderful blog called So What To Twenty! Glenda has amazing style and fabulous accessories! Check it out! We met at the Bloggers at Midlife (BAM) conference in April. As a new blogger it was a great event and a fun way to meet amazing writers and bloggers. I hope to go again next year!
