My word for the year is “Brave”

I am big on vision boards to visualize my goals for the New Year. Last year I attended a workshop on goal setting and starting the year off right. In the workshop, we had to choose a word for the year that described our focus and goals. We even chose our own “theme song” to remind us of our motivation to stay focused throughout the year. This year, my word is “Brave”. I have always viewed myself as not very “techie” and I decided that I would challenge myself to be brave and learn new things. Hence,  the blog -LOL.  I have learned so much about myself in the last year. I am doing things I never thought I would do like: starting my natural hair journey (I’ll keep you posted!), leaving my job of 20+ years, and being more “tech-savvy”. I think about my childhood, motherhood, career and now this next phase as I quickly approach the big 5-0! I have decided to be brave and to do it in style! Lookout 2016 here I come!!

This is my vision board for the new year, I use it as a screensaver on my cellphone so that I see it everyday.

Stay busy being fabulous,

-Kery B.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe
you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it
better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one
or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

I love your vision board Kery as well as this article. I’ve been threatening to do a vision board for years. I even bought the board and magazines a few years back but have never gotten around to actually doing it. Maybe DO IT should be my concept for 2016! Thanks for inspiring me to DO IT! 🙂

Yes, Do it! Would be perfect! Now you just need a theme song!
      Thanks,
